Jan Quiram leaves behind so many who loved her, especially her husband, Jim, and her son, Michael. Like countless others, including Jan's Boston Family, I too miss her, this woman so brimming with life in everything she did.

Jan was my first friend when I came to Boston in 1972. She welcomed me to my new home. I will always remember her easy smile and her infectious laughter. Over the years, Jan went the extra mile to be sure that she and I stayed connected.

She leaves the world a better place. No matter where she worked, and even in retirement, Jan strove to promote social justice. And along the way, she made a difference in so many people's lives.

The world will remember, and the people she touched will remember. We who love her will grieve, and at the same time, we will remember too.

Thank you, Jan. I lift you up in my thoughts and my prayers.
