It isn't often one makes a close bond with the brother (in-law) of your child's in-laws. However, we were most fortunate to have gained such a relationship with Jay Weinberger. We travel to Boston often to see our daughter Jennifer, son-in-law Brad, and grandsons Zachary and Joshua. During our visits not only would we spend time with Sally and Jim, but we would always see Jay. When he knew we were coming to Boston, he would make a point to see us, either for breakfast or dinner or just to talk; never an opportunity passed without a visit with "Uncle" Jay. Rarely does one come across a person who is so humble, kind, and generous. Jay was such a man. His thoughtfulness was unparalleled. He would always share his views, interesting articles, book recommendations, recipes, Sudoku strategies, and so much more.

We are very saddened by his passing and send our loving thoughts, condolences and prayers to Sally, Jim, Brad, Jennifer, Zachary, Joshua, David, Rachel, Sadie, Emily, Teri, Fred, Abby, Jaydon, and Nathaniel. Our lives were greatly enriched by knowing him and we shall miss his loving presence.

With love and blessings,

Sylvia and Jeff Kaufman and family

Dear Sally, Jimmy, Teri, Brad and David,

Jay's passing brought such sorrow to me and I wish to express my deepest sympathies to all of you and your extended families. Jay graced my life with much happiness, fun and support and I shall remember him always. I only wish I had had the chance to say goodbye to him.

May you be comforted by the caring thoughts of loved ones and wonderful memories of happier times during this saddest of times. May he rest in eternal peace.

Love ,
Michele Welch.
