Hi Pat, thinking of you. I'm in Florida, great antiques, hot as hell.

Thinking of you,

-Gladys

I remember John well back in the Corning days in Medffield. I was a young pup back then in 1972, straight out of school. The one word I would say accurately describes John is "gentleman" ... that fits him so well. I can see his smile and hear his chuckle. I am sorry to hear of his passing. I am sure he will be missed by all. My condolences to everyone.

The news of John's death brings me great sadness. I grew up with John on the streets of Allston, MA, particularly Haskell and Hooker streets. I knew his mother, father, brother and sisters. His father's wake was the first one I ever went to; I was at a very young age and, as they say, you always remember your first. A few years ago, John and I connected after many, many years. I will cherish the time we spent together talking about our youthful years running the streets of Allston and talking about how we reached our 70's. This is a most difficult time for Pat and the entire Albee family. You will get through this by remembering all of the good times you had with John. May God bless you all. Arthur (Archie) Oxner and my wife Lorraine Wallace Oxner of Pelham, NH.
