Mrs. Kelliher,

My deepest condolences on your loss. I always enjoyed waiting on you and your husband at Turner's. As my mother would say, "he was of good stock."

I am currently the Class Chair for the Holy Cross Class of 1962. I primarily remember Jack as a very good hockey player on what was then a club sport at Holy Cross. However, classmate Charlie Trombly didn't think at my old age I would remember that and found a need to write: "Jack was a very good hockey player, having played at Boston College High School. Back then, our hockey team practiced at the old rink in Webster Square, usually at midnight or later. Bob Pipchick and I were managers, while Ray Maguire was player-coach. We had some very good players!" This team will be memorialized on a plaque to be installed in what is to be known as the Class of 1962 Conference Room in the soon to be dedicated Luth Athletic Complex. Jack is in the picture that will be part of this display. In fact, right in the middle of the first row of players. May Jack's soul rest In peace.
