First my prayers go to the family. Never got to meet the man just see him on television, but wish I had. He is truly an icon in Boston and will be missed by many. I never even got to see him play but from what I hear he was terrific. He led a full life. Am glad he got to see the 2004 World Series. I remember watching him on television when he got a ring--how happy he was and how much emotion he showed because it meant so much to him. R.I. P.

I met Mr. Pesky once, in Spring Training 2004. He was very nice, and I was so happy when he finally got his World Series Ring the next April. RIP Mr. Red Sox

Johnny Pesky was one of the kindest and caring persons myself and our family got to meet many years ago when Johnny was at Ted Williams and friends event. Our sons 9 yrs old and 10 yrs old at the time saw Johnny and he waved our youngest son over and placed him up on his knee and just took time to speak to our family and the boys.

What a great and legendary gentleman with a heart for the game and Red Sox that he loved and for all of those he came in contact with.

Our condolences to the Pesky family he was one of those people you meet and the memories last forever.

He shall always remain in our hearts and minds as the most genuine Red Sox fan ever. His presence at Fenway always brought a sense of nostalgia, warmth and love to his fans. I will miss him and his infectious smile. My sincere condolences to his son and family.
