my father, Bob, was the "gurry man" and worked for A.J Elliott for many years...I have many memories of him dedicated to his job.

my mind returns to my early days at A.J.Elliott trans, Elliott stevedoring, and the office at 16 & 8 Commonwealth Pier So.Boston with joe and bros. frank, fred,jim & al, and sisters Kathleen and mary visits and even old Alexander himself
and Bob Pollock doing the books, lots of laughs and hard work and some hard nights in Gloucester, joe had the best humor of all the brothers, and the best laugh
