FITZPATRICK, Joseph T. "Jopa" 76 years of age. Of Charlestown, April 14, 2016 (Former owner of Jopa's Pizza). Beloved husband of the late Margaret "Margie" (Upton) Fitzpatrick. Devoted father of Joseph J. Fitzpatrick & wife Jean, Daniel Fitzpatrick & wife Pam, Dana R. Fitzpatrick & the late Dawn M. Ferreira. Loving grandfather of many grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Beloved brother of Marion Hughes, Robert Fitzpatrick & the late Dorothy Pratt, Betty Gorsuch, Anne Fitzpatrick, Helen Geno, William, Edward, John, Warren, Gerald, Francis & Paul Fitzpatrick. Also many loving nieces & nephews. Relatives & friends are invited to attend Jopa's Funeral on Tuesday at 9 AM. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St., CHARLESTOWN followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church at 10 AM. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Visiting hours Monday 4 - 8 PM. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers kindly make a memorial donation in Jopa's name to Caring For A Cure c/o Mass. I am so glad that I got to meet Jopa on a couple of occasions... he was a character! I have no doubt that he has left a bit of himself with everyone who knew him...
