We are deeply saddened to hear that Linda has passed. I will never forget our long talks when she would pick up the children from my daycare. I have so many memories of her bursting out laughing when we would talk about the kids. She taught me many secrets about cooking. Linda you had a heart of gold. I will miss you my friend. Rest in peace ♥

I will always remember Linda's warmth and her smile that lit up her eyes. My heart goes out to everyone in the Murphy/Hyland family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Words cannot express the heartbreak that comes with the loss of Linda. She was my second mother, matron of honor, friend, and confidante. I treasure all the memories of spending time with her and the whole Murphy family. From high school through college, she was always there helping me as I navigated those teenage years. We spent countless hours as parents discussing the challenges of raising young children. As we began to come to grips with Adam's challenges, she was always there for my tearful phone calls. We loved all our visits to California, fantasy football rivalries, her gourmet meals, etc. Linda will be sorely missed. Love, your baby sister Teri

In memory of my sister, Linda. We are deeply saddened by Linda's passing. She was a very generous, thoughtful, intelligent woman with a great sense of humor. She loved reading and art and was passionate about both. I admired her as she led by example, in many ways paving the way for her younger siblings. When I was in high school, Linda generously gave of her time, typing my research papers at some phenomenal number of words per minute, saving me hours of typing. On numerous business trips to California, I would visit her house and she would prepare a delicious meal followed by her famous apple pie. Linda will be missed by her family and friends. Your brother, Jim.
