May the angels lead you to the valley of peace dear Lorraine. My best PCP ever! You will be missed.

Dear Stanfield family, I am so sorry to hear about Lorraine's passing. She was such an important role model for me as a medical student- thoughtful, humble, smart, patient-centered, and most importantly, human. Her mentorship and support helped to shape the physician and woman I am today. I am so grateful for the time I got to spend with her at Dot House and at her home for academy meals. Her spirit is living on in me as an internist, wife, and daughter.

Lorraine was a shining light in our medical school class; someone who made the long hours of study a labor of love. She was a role model as a physician and educator. We'll miss her dearly.

I met Lorraine through friends when we were in treatment at the same time at the BI. I feel so lucky I got to know her a bit- such a beautiful, warm, funny, honest, generous and joyous person. She gave so much to so many. My sincere condolences to her family.
