As I mentioned to Margaret the plan my husband Jim and I had to replace an old fence between our yards, she said "Why don't you put a gate in it so we can get together more easily?"
What a great idea, Margaret, a gate in the side yard fence that could keep our dogs safely apart but let us get better acquainted as busy as we were with young kids, work, and remodeling.
So glad we met again in London as we both traveled there over Christmas holidays in 2009 to see our respective children, our son Michael there on the London campus of UND Law School and Susannah there working in the heady tech world, of course. We had a lovely visit over dinner at a quiet local restaurant in the Kensington neighborhood.
Always a good visit, a good chuckle, just walk thru the gate and pass a minute to share a bit. A touch of the Irish coming through.
We will miss those moments. Sheridan Place neighbors Betsy and Jim
