Dear Jane and Carole:

What a long and beautiful life your mother lived. I remember all the wonderful visits I had with all of you so many year ago. I do hope you and your families are well and thriving. Please do get in touch with me if you are ever in Boston.

Much love,

Marge Jacobson (Supovitz)

Carole, our friendship has been more than forty years and I remember being with your mother on a few occasions at your Brookline home, her 25th anniversary party, and her apartment on St. Mary Street, plus a few times at the theatre or dance events. All of those times had a very common theme flowers or plants. She loved their beauty and presence. Im smiling now as I remember that i could hardly believe the number of living green plants we watered for her before/after dance class while she was in Florida one year-such fun. She definitely had a green thumb for growing plants. And, I can never forget how pleased Marion was with the head table flowers I arranged for her 25th anniversary. Days later when I visited you, she told me how she had taken them home and was still enjoying. Carole, I envy you getting to have her so long - 107! My thoughts and prayers for your dear mother, and my love to you and your special family as you go through this difficult time.

I met Mother 17 years ago at the bridge table in Alfred Klugman's apartment at North Hill to find out that her second husband, Saul, was a golf friend of my father, Joseph I Levin. We became friends immediately and shared many beautiful occasions including the Jewish holidays when she made her light fluffy sponge cakes and even chale (?).

Marion was a beautiful woman in looks and heart--I was blessed to share in her life
