Mary's compassion moved me so much when I was a guest at the Sancta Maria House, I made a vow to volunteer once my housing situation stabilized. Sadly, the Sancta Maria House ended up closing because of much needed repairs.

However, there are those volunteers that want to resurrect the Sancta Maria House in another location. If the diocese gives its blessing and funding and a property can be obtained and Sancta Maria House can be made operational again. I will uphold my vow to continue offer my time and energy to this institution that accepted me unconditionally.

I felt I lost a family member when Mary died. Mary was the kind of woman every woman from every dysfunctional family wish they could have had as an aunt, a nanna. Mary was our aunt, our grandmother.

Mary was a true lady who touched so many lives with her presence. Thank you for all that you have done for the Homeless in Boston, Mass.

Mary was a very saintly person who gave of herself willingly. It was a great honor to know and work alongside her at Sancta Maria House. She is sorely missed.
