I only met Sister Mary Ellen once. It was a dinner in Florida with Kathy and her friend John. I was very fortunate to have sat next to her. She spoke very quietly at that time, but each thought expressed by her resonated with me. She was a bit fearful that her speech was affected by her illness. But, the words she spoke could not have been spoken any more clearly. My sincere condolences to Kathy, Brett and the Sisters of Notre Dame community.
