SULLIVAN, Peter A. Of Barnard, VT and Winchester passed away on October 1, 2016. Beloved husband of Kathleen M. (O'Connor) Sullivan. Loving father of Peter Sullivan and his wife Dana of Marblehead and Laura E. Sullivan of Derry, NH. Cherished grandfather of Carter Caroline, Peter, and Nolan. Dear brother of John of Winchester, Thomas of FL, Paul of Atkinson, NH, Madeline Emmons of Essex, Nannette Shanahan of Winchester and the late Arthur Sullivan. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Peter's career as an equity trader lasted over fifty years. He served as a senior leader in several investment firms in both in New York and Boston. In retirement, he was a first responder/EMT and board member of the Barnard Volunteer Fire Department. He also served as President of the White River Valley Ambulance Company serving twelve rural communities. Visiting hours will be held at the Lane Funeral Home, 760 Main St. (Rte. 38), WINCHESTER, on Friday from 4-7pm. Funeral will be held from the funeral home on Saturday October 8th at 9am. Followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Mary's Church Winchester at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment Wildwood Cemetery Winchester. Peter we will dealy miss you here on beautiful Anna Maria Island Florida. Our Island memory will always hold you close. You and Kathleen were and Kathleen you will always be the most pure, natural and incredibly sane people on this wonderfull Island, of course, you're from Vermont so you would be! May you rest well and peacefully in Heaven Peter, as you are a Godly Man, thank you for your courage, strength and Love. May your family continue on in your incredible spirit strongly knowing you loved each one unconditionally as you had shared with me. God Bless you and God Bless your wonderful, beautiful wife, Kathleen, and many Blessings to your beautiful children, and their children, your grand children, as they were all the light in your spirits soul.
