She was my Aunt Phyllis and also my Godmother.I lived in Everett from 1947-1970. Our families resided within a 1 block radius and I spent much of my early years in the Gould home, where I was always welcome and even considered a third son to my cousins Robert & Gary. My uncle Bob was an avid sports fan and often joined us in the various sports we played.

Aunt Phyllis was very close to my mother and viewed as one of her sisters. When I think of Aunt Phyllis I see a warm, loving person with a ready smile that was matched by her intelligence and hard working demeanor.

I have not lived in Massachusetts since 1976; my visits became infrequent over the years, and eventually ceased in 2002 when my mother died. Whenever I did see Aunt Phyllis the same person I remembered was still there. Sadly, the last time I saw her was at Robert's wake a few years ago. Despite the solemn occasion, she was thrilled to see me and, as always, made me fell special.

My memories of my Aunt Phyllis will always be of a very special person in my life

I worked with Phyllis some years ago at Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory. I remember her as a kind lady, always pleasant with never a bad word to say about anyone. I remember her fondly.

She was a great person and had a heart of gold. Very smart and always admired her intelligence even at her age. I love you very much and may your loving soul rest in perfect peace because you deserve it.
