Beloved wife of the late Francis Giudice and Joseph Avenell. Devoted mother of Joseph and his wife Joann Avenell of Tewksbury, Robert and his wife Patricia Avenell of Stoneham, Rita and her husband Ronald Coiro, and Richard and his wife Loretta Avenell, all of Medford. Loving grandmother of Alyce, Aron, Samantha, Melissa, Rachel, Rebecca, Michelle, Richard Jr., Jenna, Lisa, John, and Ronald Jr. Loving great grandmother of Matthew, Jedediah, Olivia, Hailey, Andrew, Maya, Mara, Benjamin, Audrey, Genevieve, Nathaniel, Sophia, and Stella. Dear sister of the late Margaret Sebeika. Ruth was a waitress for 40 years at the Highland Restaurant in Somerville. She was the #1 Fan of the Boston Red Sox, Wheel of Fortune, and the Mass State Lottery. Ruth loved spending time with family and friends. She was quick-witted and always put a smile on your face. She will be truly missed. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours Monday 4 - 8 PM.
