Every August 7th I have thought about Rhonda, wondering where life has brought her. I played violin with her in elementary school. Life took me in other directions, so I didn't have a chance to know her further. I remember sleepovers as kids, and her gracious parents and nice sisters. I am happy and not surprised that she grew into a wonderful woman. Thoughts are with her family and all others whose lives she touched ❤ nancy bonevac macdougall

After our last coffee together Rhonda wrote me...."it's just heartwarming to see you and to share the various, insights, triumphs and struggles of trying to learn to live our very best lives with cancer." Rhonda truly embraced the goal of living the best life possible within the confines of cancer. Grateful for all she taught me. Terribly sorry for all who are missing her. May her memory continue to comfort you in life.

My deepest sympathies to Rhonda's family and particularly to John. I was blessed to have Rhonda as a professional mentor and friend during my years at Inc. Magazine. We had many adventures together both at work and after hours ( I will never forget how much we laughed trying to break in to her apartment in Belmont after she forgot her keys. ) Rhonda was smart, talented, playful, encouraging and courageous. Rhona's spirit will continue to inspire me.

This message is to the whole Htoo family but especially to Nancy, my classmate, and Susan, a year or two ahead of me in high school. I send wishes of comfort and love on the passing of this lovely woman, who for some reason I did not know, although she was only two years younger. The Htoo family were mentioned at the recent Arlington HS reunion of the classes of 1971-73, and you were missed. If you would like to be in touch again, I am at [email protected] (my literary pseudonym is Violet Snow). May her memory be a blessing. Much love to you all.
