Dear Harrington Family,

It was with tremendous sorrow that I learned of Ray's passing. Ray was my swim coach for years at ECC and encouraged my love of swimming. Because of Ray, I went on to swim all season long and through my college years. His positive encouragement helped me through the tough races and he challenged me to pursue goals beyond my dreams. One of my many favorite memories is how he called the IM Individual Misery, then would always let out a big chuckle. Another is when I had a cap a bit too big for me and he said, "Co-pilot to co-pilot, ready for take off!" He always kept swimming fun and enjoyable for us. Please know Ray reached so many young people and made such a lasting impact in our lives. He will be greatly missed and my heart goes out to you all during these sad times.

With much love and fond memories,

Dearest Matt and the Harrington Family, Our sympathy and prayers are with all of you during this extremely solemn and difficult time. Hold ever so close those beautiful memories you have made over the years. It will be very difficult but try to Celebrate Raymond's Life as I am sure he would desire it to be celebrated. With Respect and Love, Kathleen McGinnity and GWG
