Sorry for your loss. He was my dentist from childhood until he retired. My dad became his patient when Dr. Hallisey opened his practice. Most of the amalgams I still have were probably done by him. I grew up to become an RDH. He will be missed.

Dear Hallisey Family,
So sorry to hear about Dr. Hallisey. He was a great friend to my mother Margaret Fyrberg and our family. He will be missed dearly.
Sincerely,
Gail Fyrberg DuPont

I worked for Doc as a kid right out of Dental Assisting school back in 1973, I got thrown right to the lions in such a busy practice, but I had so much fun and learned so much from him and deeply loved my then Southborough Dental family,-Doc, Diddy, Edie, Judy, Nadia, Carol and Dr. Nolan and Peter. Wonderful days, wonderful times.

He was like a father to me, Always listened to my problems, offered guidance, and friendship, and generosity
Straight from the heart. Although I haven't seen him in many years, I always think of him with great fondness and wonderful memories of those few years when we all worked hard and played hard together. Definitely, a one of a kind man,,a pretty cool guy.

If your listening Doc, I'm sending you all my best ,I'm sure you're telling a story or a joke or giving advice,up there in that big dental office in the sky.. drinking a coffee and smoking a Lucky, lol. God Bless you my dear friend .
My most sincere condolences to all the family, May they be comforted in knowing how he touched so many peoples lives in good ways.

Oh my goodness. I was just talking about Dr Hallisey last week to my son Steve. I went to Dr. Hallisey when I was 21, very fearful. I had a very bad experience (experiences) with former dentists and did not see a dentist for five years after the last episode. I finally got up the courage to see Dr Hallisey after I saw my neighbor's five year old son happy after his dental visit with Dr. Hallisey. I thought"if a 5 year old can go to the dentist, so can I". When I sat in the chair, I was prepared to have all my teeth removed (the advice of that awful dentist 5 years prior). Dr Hallisey assured me my teeth were fine and he could put them back into good shape. I was so frightened, that Dr Hallisey would sing to me at each visit. He was SO kind, so gentle. I moved away but never forgot him...even 50 years later. (I am now 72.) It makes me sad to hear that he is gone, but wonderful to see all of the people who loved him. He deserved it. I'm sorry I didn't reach out to him before this and say it to him in person. But, Dr Hallisey, if you are listening, thank you from the bottom of my heart for being you. If it's possible to love a dentist (just kidding), then you are the most deserving!!! Condolences to the many people who will miss him. Never to be forgotten.
