I was a (very young) neighbor of Mr. Bastille's from 1966 to 1970. A few weeks ago, I was in the area (visiting Dwight Garland) and drove by those homes on Mayo and Colby Rds. and vividly recalled the kindness of the entire Bastille family. I also remember feeling relieved in those days that there was at least one other "Ned" in the world. I'm sorry for your loss.

Offering our deepest condolences at this difficult time.

I grew up across the street on Colby Rd. The Bastilles were a very nice family. I do remember that Ned was not allowed o watch the 3 stooges, however.

I remember meeting Bob as a young girl at the wedding of his mother, Dolly, when she married my grandfather, Percy O. Daley. That was in 1958! I appreciate all his communications over the years with my father, Percy O. Daley, Jr. who died this past December. Please know that he will be remembered by me and others in my family, and that I am praying for Ruth and family at this time.
