Dear Grand-Uncle Bob,

I am going to miss hearing your funny jokes, sitting around your over-flowing table of food, and catching up with everyone. Please tell Grandma Louise that I say "Hi!" and that I miss her. I hope everything is "in control" where you are and watch over all that love you here on Earth.

Hugs and kisses,

Your Grand-Niece,

Yasmin

Dearest Uncle Bob,
Although you were 94, you left us unexpectedly, and too soon; we are so sad. You were our family's patriarch, and we all love you - and your humor - as did my mother, Louise and Uncle Al. We go back a long way, ie. Pinehurst St., working the polls at Holy Name, the excitement of the births of your and Aunt Norma's kids! I remember being fascinated by your political stories while driving to Brant Rock, ie. the time you and Uncle Al were summoned at a late hour by JFK's Congressional campaign to the Old Bellevue Hotel on Beacon Hill. Jimmy says that he'll miss your friendship, and having a glass of wine with you on the porch. I'll miss knowing that you were there for us, calling you each time an ocean storm threatened Brant Rock, and whenever I needed a clarification on our shared genealogy. Thank you for your love and for strengthening the bonds of our families with your inclusiveness and generous hospitality. All the Lynch families will never forget you and will forever miss you.
I love you,
Betsy

To all the Tobin children & Bob's loved ones, my sincere condolences on your loss. Bob was a terrific person with a quick wit and an unmistakable laugh and was a pleasure to be in his presence!

Mr. Tobin was a good friend and role model for me. I will always remember him with heart felt fondness and will cherish all of the memories I have of him and his family in Brantrock. Joe Schram
