Many years ago at Franklin High, I had the joy of teaching English to Robbie. Intense, kind, curious, hardworking, he was so much fun in and out of the classroom. I remember his wobbling his leg against the desk leg whenever he was taking a test, a reflection of his concentration. I remember his fierce competitiveness on the soccer field and basketball court, his face illuminated with determination. Robbie was one of the world's good guys. Reading of his death brought me to tears.

Dear Bob and Chris,
I am so saddened to hear of your son, Robbie's passing. I remember the first time I met him when I was a student and I visited you at your apartment many years ago. He was just a baby. I read so many nice accolades about Robbie and learned that he became a wonderful husband and father. Hold tight to your memories of this gracious young man. My thoughts and prayers are with you and with Robbie's sisters, wife and children And may Robbie Rest In Peace.
