Dear Eleanor & Family,
"Death leaves a heartache that no one can heal, but love leaves us memories that no one can steal." May the precious memories of your 60 years with your beloved Bob, bring you & your girls great comfort in the days & months ahead. He was a good man with a kind, kind heart & we here, in the neighborhood will miss him greatly.

Dear Mrs. Bashian,
While it saddened me so to hear of your husband Bob's passing, I was/"am" comforted by the facts that he passed peacefully from this world to the next & that, at long last his physical ailments & all the debilitating pain that came with them are finally over. He fought the good fight for years now, but at long last his pain is over & his soul has flown from his weary body & God has got him in the palm of His hand. No more shots, no more treatments, no more trips to Boston ~ only peace. I haven't a doubt that he went to the great hereafter on a first-class, direct flight & that already, he is being richly rewarded by his holy Father for a live well-lived & well LOVED. As a neighbor & an avid dog walker, I had the frequent pleasure of running in to him while he so faithfully tended his lawn & garden, (his pride & joy). He was a wonderful conversationalist, a distinguished gentleman & one of those people who knew a lot about "a lot " of things. His sense of humor was wry & his comedic timing, top notch. Never once did I hear him complain about his failing health, he was an eternal optimist & faced his health issues with courage & grace. By far, his favorite topics of conversation & the true loves of his life were you, your 4 daughters & his 6 grandchildren. He beamed with pride when he spoke of them & it was more than obvious that family came first & foremost in his life. I consider it my good fortune that I got to know Bob & that our lives intersected many years ago. He will be sorely missed, but never EVER forgotten. My thoughts & prayers go out to you & your immediate & extended family during this ever so difficult time. Take comfort in the knowledge that you will meet again.
