Sal was my father's roommate (Fran Biggie) at West Revere Health Facility for the last 6 months of his life. Though different people, they enjoyed each other's company and their shared military experiences. with each other. Not to mention handfuls of peppermint candies, as well.

The night before my dad passed away, he told me how eager he was to see "his buddy Sal" again since he was temporarily moved to a different room. Seeing Sal a few weeks later, I know that he felt the same way.

You were a good guy, Sal and we miss ya. Hope you get to hang out with my dad up there in Heaven.

Sal was my neighbor and he will be missed. He served on the Condo board and contributed his expertise until his health did not allow him to continue on the board. He was always walking his cats, Caesar and Cleopatra. He would always make conversation and give his opinion of what was going on in the world. He was a great leader in his day and very much in love with his wife who he talk about and told me the story of how they met. He was one of a kind, full of energy, tenacity, always something to say. Rest in peace my friend, you have finished your assignment here on earth. So Long Sal, April

How nice to suggest leaving a donation to The Elliott Fund, c/o Saugus Animal Hospital in Sal's memory.
