My mother, Clara Stupakewicz, was great friends with Sophia many many years ago. Although they lost touch, mother's admiration for Sophia's great talent remained. My mother, my husband (Richard Pratt), and I (Anna Pratt) send our condolences to the family, along with our prayers.

My deep condolences to the family. May the comforting promise at Hosea 13:14 bring you strength at this difficult time.

I have many fond memories of my Aunt Sophia. As fellow artist it was wonderful to have that special connection with her, which I didn't have with any other family members. When I was younger, she took me to a few of her different art classes, including portrait drawing in Rockport. She always encouraged me, and looking back on it, even when I wasn't that good! Through the years, she often asked me to bring down my newest paintings and even traveled distances to see my Exhibits. Uncle Tony, Peter, Lou and Audrey, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I know how special she was to all of you. She was a kind, warm soul and a truly remarkable woman.
