Ira was my wife Suzan's accountant for many years and was ours for many years thereafter. I only learned of his passing today as I tried to reach him about this year's returns. He was a genuinely good man, a wonderful resource, and always solicitous. He made the annual chore of doing taxes into a warm event, and I always felt assured that Ira would know the best way to handle everything. We hope his passing was as painless as possible for him, and hope his family derives some comfort from the high esteem in which Ira was held by his many friends and clients.

Dear Family of Ira's,
I was calling Ira as his tax client of 25 years and discovered he had died. I send my deepest sympathy for your loss. He helped me and my son out in some trying financial times; always kind, always thoughtful and extremely helpful. He would tell me about the trips he would go on and would always glow about his family. He helped me sort out my financial affairs when my parents died which was complicated and required extra effort and consultation. He was so trustworthy. I held him in such great respect. So I feel for you all who lost such a lovely man. May he be at peace.
Love
Patty Marquis,
