Rest easy Fr. Bill, thank you for your gentleness, your kindness and caring but most of all your sense of humor, we will never forget you!

Dear Helen, Peggy & Betty, I am sorry to hear of your brother, Bill's death. Although, we had no contact over the years, I have retained two distinct memories of Bill. One, as the quarterback of the football team at St. Mary's. The other, and just 2 days ago, I had told a friend of this: in 1948, Bill, Don Forster & I, worked for Ellis Construction Co., constructing high tension poles. We worked with older men & sometimes the language was a little rough. I vividly remember that Bill, on those occasions when a swear word might be appropriate, Bill always used the word "pottin"! I am very sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Herb Everett

So sorry for your loss of Father Bill. I have so many happy memories of him when all of us were growing up.
