John,
Your memory lives on in some of the most heartfelt and humorous conversation amongst our music friends
You played a big part in literally bringing Boston Area Blues Artists out to the Metrowest area (20 minute ride; a world apart)
You were there when Ronny Earl and Sugar Ray were starting out. You introduced Kid Bangham to Sugar Ray and after that, Kid went on to play with The Fabulous Thunderbirds world wide.
Believe me, you are remembered fondly!

I got to know John while working together at Mount Auburn Hospital.
The first time I meet him, though, he was working the Christmas tree stand. I had gone with Curt Woolfrey to get a tree. Curt told me, "i've got a friend that sells Christmas trees..."So we went to the Christmas tree stand in Brighton. And I met John. What was to be a quick pick up ended up lasting a couple of hours. I left with a Christmas tree and a new friendship.
John was great with stories and his affinity for people included people from all walks of life.
I really will remember though how he would get people laughing, even as worked tough overnights during blizzards.
I think what people remember most of John though will be that he was a "Nice Guy". He really was.
