Hi Butch - Just wanted to pass on my sincere condolences! Though I never met your father, I was always very, very impressed by you working on the ambulance service. In reading about your father, he sounds like an incredible man! All my best - Darcy Dahle (Halls)

Steve and family, there are no words to express the impact that your father and family has had on all of our lives, and I feel very honored and thankful to have known all of you. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

This amazing person wore his heart on his sleeve every day. He shared so many kind words with me. Hard not to smile when I see his face, even though he is missed. Such an amazing, kind and thoughtful person. Livingston will miss this treasure.

Dr. Itoh was a very special person - "Livingston, Montana was blessed to have his skilled medical services". I have deep respect and admiration for Dr. Itoh & his family. Marion was my Cub Scout Den Leader with her boys in Scouts at that time - they seemed to excel at everything they did. Very admirable people, I am proud to have known growing up in Livingston. Dr. Baskett informed me that Dr. Itoh was chosen as an "All-American Football" player when he was a senior in high school. Amazing! Then went on to WWII Service above & beyond the call of duty (lost an eye in the war, but went on to a skilled medical career! - An Awesome Man!). Dr. Itoh was part of a Japanese/American army unit in WWII - It was never sent to the Pacific area, just Africa and Europe. Dr. Itoh got shot up in Southern France. Dr. Baskett remembered Dr. Itoh when he was a student in Three Forks playing on its basketball team - a darned good player! I saw Dr. Itoh & Marion at Pamida/Shop-Ko on a trip to Livingston a few years ago - it was fun to say hi & chat.

Dr. Itoh was truly a pillar of the Livingston community. A kind-hearted and wise and skilful professional and excellent family man. I had relatively little contact with him, but still have vivid memories of the few meetings and conversations. A truly remarkable human being and a model for all of us. May he live on in peace and comfort.
