frank, thank you.
gene lived on the water from a very young age. Florence and gene made a boat out of aluminum and would be gone all day.they used a safety pin as a hook. he had many accomplishments as a diver, but he knew how every fish moved from a young age. it was second nature.
what I know about my husband is he was a scrapper. he wanted to accomplish whatever he could. somehow he did. they don't make a lot of people like that anymore. one of the most wonderful happenings in genes life was tom sprengar asking gene to go on the trip to spain,along with dr. Elton, the eurices, leymon bott, mr. miller, etc. to go and march in a parade at bradentons sister city in genes 70s... priceless to him and to me watching those guys. I am sending his oil painting to the hernando Desoto society where I believe all oil paintings need to be at some point.
