Dear Trudy and family:
We are sorry to hear about A.O. Dan and I were glad we got to visit with you both this spring. A.O.'s life led alot of people to Christ.
Pops - Meeting you and Granny as part of our extended family has been a tremendous blessing. You not only welcomed us in your home, but shared your love of Jesus, life and family. One of the greatest blessings in our lives is when your Granddaughter, Jill married our son, Shane. We know that you touched so many lives. You are loved by all of our family.
Preacher Hendry I will miss you so much and you have been a blessing in all the lives you have touched. You will forever be in my Thoughts and Prayers, Love you
Preacher Hendry was one of a kind. Such a fiery passion for Jesus with the light of God in his eyes. He led me and so many hundreds of others to Christ at Bethany Baptist Church and make an indelible impact on my life. Over the years, even after I moved away to attend law school and moved to Orlando, I would run into him from time to time and he always had a big smile and a bear hug for me. He is part of my personal history, and I loved him for his authentic, unapologetic, country-boy persona. At his funeral, I cried tears of joy as the congregation raised the rafters singing Preacher Hendry's favorite Southern Gospel hymns. What a fitting tribute to him and how poetic that we said goodbye to him at the very altar where he spent so much of his life pleading for others to come know Jesus. I will see you in heaven, Preacher.
Love you Preacher! The Angels in Heaven are happy you are there!
My thoughts an prayers are with Preacher's family. He will be greatly missed by all.
Preacher Hendry was my first regular preacher at Bethany Baptist. He baptized me when I was 13. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
You will be missed. You touched our lives.
Oh "Preacher", I so remember standing beside you on the football field at Southeast High. You would say the prayer before the game and I sang the National Anthem. We stood beside each other there for many seasons. When I first met you at SEHS I was not married and you told me you'd be praying for me that God would send the right man for me. You nicknamed me "Froggy" because I was to wait til I kissed the right frog and he would turn into my prince. I waited and I got my prince. So appreciated all of our talks and your precious advice. God has definitely received another precious angel home. Look for me, Preacher, I'm coming too when he calls me. God bless you, precious family.
Love and Blessings to all the Hendry family

Prayers and thoughts to the family
I am sad to hear of Preacher Hendry's passing. I have many memories of him at Bethany Church when I was a young girl. I will always remember him wearing his cowboy boots to preach in and hustling us kids from door to door to share the gospel. May God Bless him for his service and his family who will miss him.
Our prayers are with your family during this time of great earthly loss but heavens gain. May God bless you in the coming days. Sorry we could not be there to celebrate "preachers" life but our prayers are with you!
My prayers and love are with the family. He will truly be missed. Just two years ago Sunday he preached my husband's funeral and six months before my Mom. He fought a good fight.
A mighty man of God has now joined the Lord he dearly loved and about Whom he declared and preached with power and love. God bless his fine family.
