As a weekend season ticket holder in 1999 & 2000, I got to meet Jack Buck and Stan Musial at the same time. I was lucky to have my photo of both of them with me in the middle. It's a photo I have always appreciated and now it even means more to me. RIP Stan. The ballpark will never be the same without you there especially on Opening Day!

What a Great Ball Player Stan Was in his Time,my childhood hero when I was growing up , listening to the ball games on the radio back in the 40's .I was lucky enough to go to ST Louis several times with my parents to see the games. what an exciting time that was to see my favourite ball player in Sportmans park at that time . seen several of Stans home runs go over the right field stands on to grand ave.what a sight it was to see Stan take his stance at the plate always a little wiggle, and coils up ready to strike. Stan made his mark in St Louis . May Stan Rest in Peace.

I was born and raised in southeast missouri and, in the mid 50,s,went to a cardinal game in st.louis. after the game, I was able to go to Stan and Biggies and meet Mrs. Musial. Stan had autographed a picture and baseball for us and I still have both. God bless those of us who were able to listen to on the radio and watch this great man do what he did best. God bless the Musial family-you were truly blessed with greatness.

Thanks for the wonderful memories, Mr. Musial. 6 is, and always has been my favorite number. I'm pushing 68 yo very hard. My eyes haven't been dry all day, reading about this wonderful man.

My thoughts and prayers are with all the family and fans of "The Man." He was baseball for St. Louis but he was an even better human being.
