Your family has my heartfelt sympathies. I have many fun memories of Ellie and your family, and our growing up together. God surely has a special place in Heaven just for Ellie. I'm so sorry she was taken from all who loved her much too soon. Love, Suzy (Fritz) Johnson
Although we only met once or twice, I remember Ellen well. She impressed me with the deep connection she had with her family and all that was around her. With deepest sympathy.
My deepest sympathy to Ellie's family. I cherish the fun times we had growing up together as children/teenagers. We will carry the light of your love in our hearts forever. This world is a better place because you were in it and because you have left a legacy of family and friends who will always be connected because of you. I will always remember you laughing with your hair blowing and your beautiful smile. You have fought the good fight, you have run the good race, you have received your eternal reward. Til I see you in Heaven, my friend, watch over us. We will sorely miss you. I love you, Ellie.
Our family is keeping all of you in loving prayer. We have shared so much of our lives together, now the death of our sisters/daughters. How can words express our deepest sympathy. We want so much to be there with you in Port Allegany, to hug you and to cry with you and to assure you in confidence that Ellie is in God's hands as are we all and that He will make all things new again. We have the gift of faith, my dear friends. May God bring you peace and comfort. May He give you strength and courage for this journey. I love Ellie with all my heart and I look forward to the day when we will all be together again in eternal glory. Our love and prayers are with your family always.
So sorry to hear about Ellie. She was a special person. She lived with my husband's parents, Carrie and John Long, in New Bloomfield, Perry County when she first came to teach. I believe she stayed nearly a year...and they loved it and became great friends. You have our sincerest sympathy. Suzy and John Long

Ellen was truly a nice person. She loved our steak sandwiches that we made at bear camp and couldn't do enough to help out. When I told my son Anthony of her passing he said "she was a really nice lady". I fully concur. God bless Ellen and her family. They are in our prayers.
We remember the fun we had a Blain Elementary. Our sympathy goes out to the family.
