Barbara A. O'Dette
1923-2013 BELLOWS FALLS, VT Barbara A. O'Dette, 90, of Birch Street died Tuesday, December 3 at her home. Mrs. O'Dette was born in Bellows Falls on September 7, 1923 the daughter of Wilfred and Mildred (Wood) Leach. She was a graduate of Bellows Falls High School and worked for Sikorsky Aircraft in Connecticut, for the Bellows Falls Trust Company, and was owner and Operator of the Square Yard Shop in Bellows Falls. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, hand crafts, reading, camping, and playing with her cats. On October 12, 1946 at St. Charles Church Barbara married Roland O'Dette who predeceased her. She is survived by her son, Lawrence O'Dette of Utah; her daughters, Christine Damaziak of Walpole, NH and Wendy O'Dette of Bellows Falls; seven grandchildren, two great -grandchildren, and one great great -grandchild. There will be a graveside service in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Bellows Falls at a later date to be announced. Arrangements are in the care of Fenton & Hennessey Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to TARPS, P0 Box 274, Chester, VT 05143.
