I only recently heard of Vivian's passing. I am an Occupational Therapist who had the distinct pleasure of working with Vivian when she first moved to Vernon Green, which was shortly after I began working there in June 2003. Throughout the years Vivian and I were very friendly, and loved sharing stories about our mutual love for elephants and children. I had just had my two daughters in my first years there, and she was always delighted to see them and to share stories of her great-grandson as well. I still occasionally work at Vernon Green and every time I am there, I check in and say hello to Vivian. I was saddened to hear of her passing when I was there earlier this week. She was an absolutely wonderful and delightful soul, and I will treasure my memories of her. My deepest condolences to Tony and family,

Sincerely,

Karyn Hammond

Dear Veronica and Marshall and the rest of Vivian's family, I am so sorry that I was not able to make the memorial service for Vivian. I did not see it in the paper until actually it was in progess on and in Wednesday's paper. You all know what a special woman your Mom was to my Dad and my family and I would not have missed it for the world. I have not seen her for quite a while but the substitute nurse at my school works at vernon green at night and vivian and I have been sending notes back and forth for quite a while. I regret not getting down there much but since I moved to NH going to work and back home is about all I accomplish. She was a wonderful woman and I was so happy she and my father had some good times together. She will be missed by all of us.

Dear Tony, Teresa, Mary Lou and Veronica,

I am so heartbroken to hear of "Aunt Bing" passing. I remember visits to Vernon when I was young and being in awe of her Elephant collection and going home with delicious pickles. She was such a precious friend to my Mom and I remember being so sad when I found out she wasn't really my Aunt. She will always be Aunt Vivian in my heart and I'm sure that Mom welcomed her to heaven with open arms. Love to you all.
