Semper Fi Brother!

Dear McNaulty Family,
I learned of Brian's passing last year. I am truly sorry for your loss. I had the honor of serving with him as a young CPL. He was my team leader and then later squad leader. The thing I remember most about him was that he always had a huge smile on his face. It was an absolute pleasure serving with him. I too remember that Halloween he dressed up as a bumble bee when he had broken his back.
The reason I came looking for you is because it has been brought to my attention that another Fast Co. Friend of mine has a video of Brian that he would like you to have. We have a closed group on Facebook if you would like to join "Fast Company 2nd Plt" or email me at 234jsrock@gmail.com and I will put you in contact with Tommy Williford. He has the video.

I got to know Brian when he was a Marine Security Guard in Budapest, and then saw him again when he was the MSG Detachment Commander in Bujumbura, Burundi. I was always impressed by what a smart, incredibly funny and supremely decent guy he was. No matter what was going on, he always had a smile on his face and he kept other people's spirits high. After his death, I learned that some of the MSGs I've since worked with were trained by him, and they held him in very high regard, as they should. He is sorely missed. I am lucky to have had the chance to know him.

Brian was my platoon Sergeant in 2/4('97-'99). No matter the situation he always boosted the moral. Looking back my memories of him all bring a smile to my face. He will always be remembered by those who had a chance to know him.
God Bless his family.
SEMPER-FI brother!

MSgt Mcanulty was a Marine's Marine; a real stand-up guy and character that was always looking out for his Marines and quick with a joke.
