Mr. King was a very nice man. I'll always remember telling him that he should have a display at the Memorial Auditorium (when I worked there)- but he was more concerned that his friend Johnny Horton should be remembered.

I am so sorry to hear about C.K,s passing. I have known Claude and his family for 45 years and went to school with Jay at Linwood and Woodlawn high I am very grateful to have been a friend to Claude and Jay as my best friend. I am praying for the family and they are in my thoughts. Rest in peace C.K. Love Tall Boy (RF) and Brenda
