Les Funk Obituary

A celebration of life of Bandon, Oregon resident, Les Funk, was held 11 a.m., Friday, January 17, 2014, at Amling Schroeder Funeral Service, Bandon Chapel.
Les was born December 5, 1939, in Brush, Colorado, the son of Orville and Wanda (Davis) Funk.
He died January 7, 2014, at his home at the age of 74.
Les was raised and educated in Colorado. He moved around 1960 to California, where he worked for PG&E for 25 years. He then started working for PCS Corporation, eventually becoming the owner/operator until his retirement.
Following retirement, he moved to Oregon where he was active on the Brandon Pool Committee and was a member of the Brandon Welcome Club. He also was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Harris; children, Lisa and husband Steve; Michael; Diane and husband Rob; Jason and wife Jackie; grandchildren, Derrick, Kassidy, Matthew, Bailey, Jacey, Nathan, Christopher, Joseph, Tyler, Daniel, and Ashley; brother, Gerald and wife Donna, brother Richard and wife Janice; sister, Nancy and husband Doug; and his stepmother, Alice Funk.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Dana, a grandson, Anthony, and his parents.
The family suggests memorials be made to Pacific Home Health and Hospice in Les' name.
