Uncle Douglas was a well spoken man and we enjoyed listening to him tell stories about his teaching experiencesand stories of his childhood growing up on a farm at family gatherings. He could have written a book based on those experiences. He will be greatly missed. Henry, Leslie, and Trent Dickerson

In loving memory of an uncle that inspired me to be a
bookworm. The passion for reading started the day he handed me my first real book. I consider him someone important in my life. Now, there are no words to cover this loss but I want all of you to know that you're in my prayers.
