Dear Mary,
You know how much I loved your father and mother as I have told you so many times over the years. Your dad reminded me so much of my father, so kind and caring with the gentle voice and soft smile and always a twinkle in his eye. Who couldn't love him? Your mom was wonderful and kind and I enjoyed many good laughs with her. Certainly two of my favorite people I've ever known. They are once again together and at rest. I know you'll miss him but you are fortunate to have so many lovely memories of them both to keep them close to you in your heart and spirit where they will live on through you.
I regret to say that I could not attend the wake but I have been thinking of you and sending thoughts of love and comfort to you and your family. You will once again smile when everything calms down and you have time to reflect on how fortunate you all are to have had such wonderful, loving parents/grandparents as Charlie and Jean. Your entire family is truly blessed and I am certain both your parents felt the same about all of you. May they rest in peace eternally.
In sympathy,
Love, Cathy Finan

I don't remember Dr Massaro very well, as I was very young in the 60's, but I do remember my Mom taking me to his office on Cleveland Drive when I got sick. I had moved to Texas but I want to say I appreciate him taking care of my mother before she passed on. He was a wonderful person. My condolences to his family.

Dear Mary, Charles & Michael
My wife, Cathy and I are very sorry for your loss. Your Father was a very special person to me because he was my Uncle and he was my Doctor that made House Calls to me when I was sick. He was a loving person that made anybody instantly like him. Back in the day [ 1962 ] my mother would take me and my sister Sue to visit Uncle Chuck and Aunt Jean. At the time they lived in Cheektowaga on Joseph Street and then later on moved to Williamsville. My Sister and I have many fond memories that were formed and continued throughout the years. For me, My Uncle Chuck and Uncle Jack were the two people directly responsible for opening up the doors and help me afford a College Education. Without them I can tell you with 100% certainty this would not have happened. At the end of this two year College, I graduated with a Associates Degree in Drafting. My Aunt Jean would often say to me; If you ever want to come over and visit me, just come over anytime, you don't have to call me, I'm usually home. The summer before I left for College, I had bought my first car and decided on a whim to just drop in. I rang the doorbell and my Aunt Jean opened the door and said, don't just stand there come on in I'll throw a pot of Coffee. It so happened my Uncle Chuck was home and was working in his home office. We all went to the kitchen and sat down talking about different things that were going on like was I getting excited about attending College in the Fall. After about three hours, I thought to myself, I better not wear out my welcome even though I could of spent all day there, I said; I better go. As I walked out of the kitchen to the living room I saw a Giant Horse sleeping on the Couch, it wasn't really a horse it was their Family Dog, a very large Irish Wolfhound that had this very gentle and baby like personality. Jean laughed and said the baby dog needs his sleep. I finally left but was invited to drop in anytime. Both my Aunt Jean and Uncle Chuck opened their doors and hearts to everyone. When my Uncle Chuck moved on to do more important work as Chief of Staff at Sister's Hospital it was a great loss to me because the was my Physician and there isn't too many people that were like him. My Uncle Chuck was a person who has affected so many people's lives in a very positive way, I don't know if he ever knew himself how many people he helped.
With Great Sympathy

Dear Charles, Michael and Mary...
My father, Angelo Tiranno, was a cousin of your father. I have so many fond memories of your Dad, as he was our family physician for many years. He was there for me when my firstborn came along and teased me about naming him "Michael" too. He said..."don't you know about Michael's??" and proceeded to tell me about how mischievous they can be. I absolutely adored him and your mother too. I fondly remember his mother, Aunt Mary who lived around the corner from us. My father and Uncle John were the owners of Johnny's Meat Market that still exists on Hertel Avenue today. He was an amazing, kind and caring man and I will never forget him. They are all together now...keep the memories close to your hearts. RIP Doc. Paulann Tiranno DiGioia
