I just heard today. I am devastated and profoundly diminished, as are we all. Dave was a great friend and a true original spirit. An optimist against all the odds and a warm and generous man.

Bob, Joan & Sally...It is with sadness that we learn of the passing of your son and brother. While we did not know David, we are most certain, based upon of knowledge of his family, that he was a gentleman of character and purpose. We tend to not fall too far from that proverbial tree! You carry with you our thoughts and prayers. While there is little one can do for another at such a very devastating time, please know that if we could, we would....Rest in the awareness that this was a man respected in the community and mourned by many.

Dr Conschafter was the best chiropractor for me for many years. Felt like I was seeing family when I went to his office. I always enjoyed sharing each other's family news, hearing about his sons, vacations, loved ones. My sincere condolences to David's family and significant other.

February 2, 2017

David was my cousin. I haven't seen or talked to David in years. I do have fond memories of our early days with family gatherings. David was always the quiet and kind one off all us wild kids. I suspect that David carried these positive traits throughout his life.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all his family. Jim and Katie Conschafter

Our deepest sympathy to the family of a truly special man. A compassionate doctor who was so kind, a really good man who felt others pain and strived to relieve it. Dr. Dave helped us for many years. You boys were blessed with wonderful parents who were taken too soon. We shall remember him always.

Dave,

Since I heard the news I have been trying to wrap my arms around how you have left us so soon. I will never forget being sent to you on a whim after my accident and finding out our parents were neighbors in Crystal Beach. We became fast friends and you were the only one I ever trusted. I will miss our phone calls just to vent about life. You were taken too soon and may you rest in peace with Julie.

My uncle, Ed Trojner, was injured in a stock car accident in the late fifties. He was treated by Dr. Conschafter, who became his lifesaver. Don't remember a lot, but remember the name and how my Uncle Ed loved him and how much better he felt and being treated by him. Thank you.
