I remember picking her up at the airport many times with Grandfather Jose when she came back from NYC. She always wanted to be a movie star. She will always be a Star to me.

Again, my deepest sympathy for the loss of your mother, Anna. I knew her as Helen and met her backstage in summer stock in Canada when we were still in different colleges. Putnam Street was not far from where my family lived in Buffalo so I met her parents and her brothers and sisters. Bumped into her about 9 years later in New York City where I still reside. Helen moved in with me and my roommate one summer in New Yorkand we were in some plays together. She was always fun loving and also very studious and always very original...also, aso, a very loyal friend. Our crowd missed her when she went to California with Tom to raise her family. We kept in touch through the years and know that she and her husband Tom, acted in many plays there...but her grandest production, as I heard her tell, was Anna...her very talente daughter she said, who was (and is)a beautiful singer as well as a fine actress. She was so proud.
Love,
Anne

Dear cousin Anna,
I was saddened to hear of the loss of your mother, and my Aunt Helen, as she she known to me. I enjoyed visiting her at Beechwood with my father, It was so enjoyable to watch their brother, sister connection as they reminisced about Putnam street, and their siblings, parents, and even cats!

I spent many enjoyable moments with my Aunt Elena during the years I lived in Buffalo. We hadn't known each other until then but we quickly established a great connection. I am grateful for these precious moments we shared together and the opportunity I had to get to know her.
May you rest in peace. Love, Maria
