Paul, Sandy, Lee, George, Susan... I am very sorry to hear about your Dad and my friend George ( that old fart).. I have many fond memories with him.. his laugh, smile and of course his ability to sway me to help him make hay for those hungry cows for a warm beer he stashed in his hot truck...We had many good times together..Vegas, Winterhaven, shots and more shots, singing "there's a tear in my beer", pond parties, polka dancing with the ladies, and story telling.. He was a good hard working man and he will sorely be missed... I wish your entire family the best during this difficult time..

I am so sorry about your dad. He will be missed. I am sure my dad is going to miss him more than he will ever let on. For as far back as I can remember, so 40 some years, George was his hunting partner. They would go out, come back, have lunch, go out, come back for a few beers and the story of the day ! Oh those stories..... George always had a hello and conversation for us kids.. When i would sneak to the Winterhaven when i was in my late teens, he always kept the secret !! God bless you guys during this time, i can only imagine if there is hunting in heaven- he is getting ready to go out.....

George was a great guy, We all had a lot of fun over at his pond parties, chasing his cows, haying, cutting firewood.
Road trips to buy machines or see equipment shows were always a laugh.
Hope I see ya on the other side as others do. You left a lot of people who called you a friend.
Your family will really miss you

Sandy, Paul, George, Sue, Lee, So sorry about your Dad. I remember him often and the great times we had at WinterHaven. He was always giving me pointers on shooting pool, I could never beat him. He was also telling me that drinking scotch was an acquired taste. I have some very fond memories of George and the times we all had. I will always hold them near. That great smile will be missed. Love you George, R.I.P.
