Doug you promised my dad you would look after me I know you will still keep your promise. I loved telling you all my cheap stories. I'll never forget how you made fun of all the waitresses "I got it" or how you always bought me candy. You were the one I could talk to without judgement just advice. Louies will never be the same and I promise that. Your death was a shock to all especially me. I just wish I could have one more conversation with you to tell you how much you mean to me. Fly high and rest in peace doug. I will see you someday <3 miss you tons

Doug, I will miss you more than I can express. A lot of the spirit of Louie's is going to be sucked out of the place now that you're gone. Thank you for always taking care of the customers who were disrespectful and for looking out for me. You were always there for me to make me laugh when I was in a bad mood and somehow always saw through the fake smiles. I'll miss our chocolate moments, your random people encounters, and talking about how tired Al Cohen must be. I'll never forget your friendship or sense of humor. Rest in peace, Doug. Fly High <3
