PHILLIPS - Irene Ella (nee Montz) May 2, 2014. Born January 8, 1919 in Buffalo, NY to Clara Ida (Schmitt) and William Montz; predeceased by her loving husband of over 60 years, Alexander E. Phillips; loving mother of Allene Claire (Charles) Barans and Robert Edward (Cynthia Fix) Phillips; grandmother of Margaret Anne (Adam) Kroening, Esq., Heather Marie (David) Dubois, Kathleen Claire Barans and Cassandra Ellen Phillips; great-grandmother of Gretchen Adelaide Phillips, Hanna Claire Acuna, Shane Anthony Acuna, Miles K Acuna, Bridget Alexandra Phillips, Isabel Colleen Ingison and Mya Nicole Ingison; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the DIETRICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 2480 Kensington Ave., Amherst, where prayers will be offered Saturday at 9 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM celebrated at Infant of Prague Church, 921 Cleveland Dr., Cheektowaga.
