Always a friendly greeting and smile as I whizzed by on my bike down Huntley Road going to my friend's house on Burke Drive. Many years of shooting the breeze at St. Al's Christmas bazaar. All very happy memories of one of the many good neighbors on Huntley Road. A fine patriarch who will be missed. Prayers to all of the family. Wendy

Dear Fahey Cousins & Family,

The Berta children (Jules John; Leslie; Lisa & Mary Margaret) send our love and sympathy. We all have many memories of Uncle Jack through visits back to Buffalo, NY over the years. Cherish the memories, as Uncle Jack was sure to leave a memorable impression. That is a great photo of him chosen for the obituary, captures his character. Love & best wishes, thinking of you all.

To the Fahey family~~ Mr. Fahey was my history teacher at Riverside High School. I loved his sense of humor, and interesting presentation of American History. On November 22, 1963, he stood in front of our class and announced that President Kennedy had been shot. He could not believe that our chapter for the day was "who succeeds the president in the event of his death?" When our principal came in to declare the "President is dead ", Mr. Fahey put his head down on his podium and wept. I wept along with him, as did so many of us. That moment, that day, will be forever etched in my memory. I am grateful that I was in the classroom with such a compassionate, caring teacher who helped me through that afternoon. I will never forget him. My prayers and thoughts go out to the whole family. He was a special man.
