I grew up next door to Joyce. She was a good friend of my mother. She was a loving sweet lady who always treated me (and others) kindly & w/respect even though I was her kids age. I always called her Aunt Joyce. She was like family. As I grew up, when I would stop at my parents house, I always wanted to go over to say hello and see how she was going. She will always have a special place in my heart.
