Words are hard to find at a time like this. Just know I always loved your mom. She was a very special lady. I thank God that I had the time to share with her. She loved the both of you very much. Her eyes lit up when your names were mentioned. She loved life and remembered alot of good times. My prayers go out to you and your family at this time of grief.

I first met Rita (Mrs. Schmitt to me) when I was a young pre teen if notyounger. Rita was the mother of one of my brothers best high school friends, Roger. I always experienced a generous soul and gracious demeanor from Rita when Paul and I would go to their house for whatever reason, ever a big smile when she greeted us. I know Paul will miss her, I'm sure Roger is missing a bright spot in his life now, but our Gracious Lord has gained another good one in His glorious Kingdom. God bless you Rita, enjoy the angels choir. Laurie

Roger, Brian & family, We were sadden to hear of your mothers passing. The last time we saw your Mom was at Friars table for dinner about 10 yrs. ago. I remember our Mom's talking about the "Old days" at dinner because they had not seen each other for many years. I'd like to think our Moms & Dads are having a beer together as they look down on us over the holidays :-)We were very lucky to have them as long as we did.
