I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Gingell. I had the pleasure of knowing him through my employment at Childrens Hospital in Buffalo. I was also honored to help him on a few of his research projects over the years. He was a charming, compassionate man who loved his work and gave it his all. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word to share. He will be missed by his friends and colleagues here in Buffalo. May his family find peace in knowing how many lives he touched as well as saved. Please remember, Sorrow is not forever, Love is. Helen Barrett

I am alive today because of the love, kindness, and care of Dr. Gingell. He cared for me during all five of my heart surgeries from the time I was 18 months old till 21 years old. I will always remember him fondly. I can't express my gratitude and appreciation for the blessing that he was to me and my family. Thank you!

Our condolences to the family. Thank you for sharing him with his patients all these years. My daughter was blessed to have had him as her pediatric cardiologist. Not many doctors would call you at 10:30 PM to see how your daughter is.. he did this many times. He will be sadly missed.

Our deepest condolences to the Gingell family on the passing of a great man. Dr. Gingell was my husband's cardiologist for as long as he remembers and then, years later, treated our daughter as well. A kinder, gentler man could never be found. He took such care with his patients that you never felt alone. Thank you to his family for sharing him with so many grateful families. He will be so missed!

Dear Gingell Family,
I am deeply saddened to hear of Dr. Gingell's passing. I will always cherish the years I had the privilege of working with him at the Amherst location of PCA. He was such an incredible man and physician. He loved his patients and treated everyone like family. I loved his laugh and his easy going manner. My heart goes out to all of you during this time. May you find comfort in knowing how many loved and admired him. He will always be remembered and greatly missed!!!
