January 11, 2020.
Rudy, Al and all of the other Germania coaches were my "soccer dads." and their wives my "soccer moms."
I loved showing up to practice, playing in games, working the German/American festivals and celebrating at our Christmas parties. Rudy and Germania are my 2nd family. Love and miss you all. ❤❤
RIP.

Two thoughts that come to mind that have been with me throughout the years are the fact that he would always kiss Irma goodnight. This simple yet touching action says a lot about his love for her. Secondly, he was the first "older dude" I knew who was in great shape. I marveled as a kid how this "old guy" could run around and play soccer. One of the many reasons I continue to workout, thanks Mr Meinl.
